Should I put pricing on my website? Do I post my investment on social media? If someone at a party asks me how much I charge, should I just blurt it out? These are some of the questions I will be covering today when we talk about the often-confusing topic of PRICES and how and when you should share them with your potential clients.
In every service-based industry there is a huge range of prices and a lot of different opinions about whether you should publish your prices on a website or if you should reserve sharing your prices for times when you are speaking with someone genuinely interested in working with you. You can find cases for, cases against, the whole gamut. Today I am focusing the lens on the many factors that go into deciding what to do when we are in businesses where our gifts, skills, expertise & training, coupled with our unique inexplicable priceless talent is what we bring to the table.
