If you want a fast, optimal, high-functioning machine, you have inevitably done this! Since technology is changing so rapidly, you constantly have to expand your memory, speed and overall capacity to stay up to date. The process starts with a reboot. Then occasionally you’ll need to restore a program back to when it was functioning well. And sometimes you’ll have to perform a “defrag”. Do you know what that is? It is a function that takes scattered information and aligns it to optimize your use of space. Somehow as human beings we have figured out how to do this for our computers and phones, but when it comes to the most important machine of all, we don’t heed our own advice.

The availability of information that we have at our fingertips is staggering. Our senses are being overloaded, as are our hearts and minds. We are watching tragedies and natural disasters unfold all over the world in real time. We don’t know whether to donate money, cry, feel guilty, protest, or all of the above. How is it possible that the same operating system you were born with is capable of handling this now? 30, 40, 50 years later? It’s not! If you put this kind of mental and emotional stress on an already fatigued body that is lacking sleep, over-scheduled and burning the candle at both ends, you are looking at a complete system overload.

Chronic stress and fatigue can cause physical symptoms and ailments in the way of digestive issues, aches and pains, and inflammation, or even make you more prone to minor injuries. With the internet we now have a way to try and self-diagnose or look for remedies. The abundance of blogs, websites and newsletters about health and wellbeing is endless, but having too many opinions and options often leads to fear and confusion, not action. This overloading of information slows you down and keeps you in a vicious cycle of wanting to take care of yourself but not knowing how.

There are as many “right” diets as there are people on the planet. There is no one dietary theory that works for everyone. My priority for all of my clients is to move from processed to fresh wholesome foods. I work with you to determine what are the best sources of proteins, fats and carbohydrates for your body, how to choose ideal ingredients when shopping or eating out and hopefully to inspire you to prepare more of your own meals and how to make that happen with my special and easy tips, recipes and meal prep/planning ideas.
As your coach I provide you with the right system, support and accountability—this means a custom program to fit your needs that integrates into your life NOW with my guidance and cheerleading (and a little tough love when needed) every step of the way. I specialize in not only helping you to figure out WHAT to eat and WHY, but also in reducing your stress and creating more internal space so that you have room for growth and expansion.
